CASA evening ‘Groene Koers’. How green is Arnhem really?

Arnhem presents itself not just as green and creative, but also as an energy city. Hydrogen technology, the Lolo, heat from the sewer, are just some of the many sustainable initiatives. Architecture and urban planning seem to lag behind in this ambition. Green roofs, solar panels and heat islands are most frequently mentioned in policy, but implementing it is not certain. Where is the decisiveness when it comes to a sustainable urban environment and how green is Arnhem really?
