School kids inspire architects of GROUP A

by Lolke Ket on October 14, 2011

Architects of GROUP A have given interactive presentations to pupils of the Wereldwijs primary school, one of the new residents of the planned Cultural Educational Center in De Bilt, The Netherlands.

The objective of the presentations was both to educate pupils on the Architect’s profession, and to make them aware of the design process and subsequent construction of their new school premises.

The architect's profession

The day was organised as a kick-off for a two week project on architectural design and building construction. Theme of the presentations was ‘towers-through-the-ages’ after which pupils, ranging from 5 to 12 year old, rushed on drawing their own dream tower.

When the architects left at the end of the day, they were satisfied and equally inspired by the uncompromising and powerfull design result of this potential new generation of professionals.
