This year ARCAM again organizes the Amsterdam Architecture Award. The Gouden A.A.P. is awarded to an architect and client for the best project realized in the previous year, according to a jury. GROUP A is proud that it’s recently completed project Werkplaats Steigereiland on IJburg is one of the nominees.

The jury this year consists of architectural historian Fredie Flore, architecture critic Indira van ‘t Klooster and architect Peter Defesche. Previous winners were Dok architecten (2008), Claus en Kaan Architecten (2009), Wiel Arets Architects (2010) and SeARCH (2011). The nominees of the A.A.P., 27 in total, were announced in January 2012. In late April, the winner will be awarded and the publication Amsterdamse Architecturuur 2011-2012 will be presented by ARCAM. In May, all the nominated projects will be exhibited at ARCAM. More information on A.A.P. 2012
